Elaine Allison is an International speaker and author of The Velvet Hammer, PowHERful Leadership Lessons for Women Who Don't Golf. Elaine began honing her insights into the differences between how we work, lead and succeed early in her career. She was one of Canada's first female prison guards in an all -male-maximum security prison at the age of nineteen. Elaine had a crash course in understanding how we interact with each other and achieve, as her life virtually depended on it! She began to truly observe how we each dealt with conflict, leadership and power as we strive to make a difference in our work and personal lives.

Aside from her early career mentioned, Elaine has taught children with behavioral problems in a special education program; managed over 1400 unionized flight attendants handling issues at 35,000 ft. while in the airline industry; and successfully handled the day to day challenges of various large corporations as a manager and then as a senior executive. She learned how damaging some behaviors and choices can be.

She has developed training and keynotes for such industries as travel, trades, finance, insurance, military, corrections, police, retail, food services, media, technology, healthcare.  Her messages are universal and are tailored to your needs.

She is a popular talk show host and been interviewed on over 100 radio shows and seen on ABC World News in New York (twice), Global TV and many talk shows on SHAW, Rogers, Access and OMNI.

Sally Rusby is technical trainer with over 20 years experience as a consultant specialising in human resource development and technical training. She has consulted in a variety of organizations from crown corporations to credit unions, mining organizations, airport authority and City and Municipal clients.

Her work ranges from job/task inventories and needs assessments to developing competencies and job performance standards and designing, developing and writing technical manuals and specialised management and technical training programs.

She has designed and developed management training programs in Customer Relations, Time Management, Leadership Development, Problem-Solving/Decision-Making and Team building and Advanced Facilitation Skills. In addition, she has designed multi-media technical training including Electrical Fundamentals, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Winter Operations Equipment and a variety of other technical programs for clients that span the globe. The scope of work ranges from computer-based training (CBT) to multi-media training aids and manual and video design.

She is experienced in international projects for Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) working in Pakistan, Egypt, Caribbean, and West Africa (Ghana) assessing technical training and monitoring project management.
